Admissions Shared Services supports all IU Domestic Undergraduate Admissions offices by performing data processing under the Shared Services model. The shared services team works in support of the recruitment goals of each campus by ensuring timely and accurate processing of undergraduate admission applications and associated documents.

The Admissions Shared Services team is responsible for…
- Undergraduate Admission application and associated data processing across all eight campuses
- Collaborating with each campus admissions office to achieve timely and accurate processing in support of their recruitment goals
- Works closely with UITS (University Information Technology Services) to modify and enhance systems to improve efficiency and support the university’s academic mission
- Document imaging and workflow between Student Information System and OnBase system to reduce dual data entry in effort to provide real time data sharing
- Support continuous improvement through automation initiatives and overall process improvements
- Routine audit reporting to identify both system and data entry issues as they occur
- Suspense file management
- Transfer credit processing in support of transfer credit articulations
