AdRx
The Advising Records system is the first enterprise solution offered specifically for Academic Advising. AdRx was designed to promote more efficient faculty and professional advising for all students on the Indiana University campuses. This tool allows users to reach all pertinent advising resources in one place. Effective use of this advising system improves advising as a practice, facilitates strengthened relationships with students, and reduces confusion and mistakes in the management of academic affairs.
BI Tableau
Tableau provides services for Indiana University's Business Intelligence environment providing visual analytics and web tools to create reports. The toolset and server platform can be used to create dashboards and apply various analytical techniques on our core data assets.
Blackbaud Award Management (BAM)
Blackbaud Award Management (BAM) is an online scholarship application for IU Foundation, Alumni Association, Cox Scholarship (BL), Selective Scholarship Application (BL) and other campus scholarships. NOTE: Application is not inclusive of ALL scholarship opportunities available. Please contact your campus Financial Aid or Scholarship Office for more information. CARMIn
CARMIn is the acronym for Course Approval, Remonstrance, Maintenance and Integration and is an automated system used for adding new course offerings and updating existing course offerings in PeopleSoft. It allows for university internal academic review and comment (remonstrance) and serves as the mechanism for capturing course descriptions, which ties into SIS advising and registration systems. DART
DART is the acronym for Data Access Request Tracker. It is the system used by Access Coordinators and University Data Managers to add/modify/delete access for SIS, AdRx, Symplicity, IUF Scholarship and Blackbaud Award.
IU CRM
IU CRM is a constituent relationship management platform for managing data and communications across the entire university. Powered by Salesforce.org, IU CRM helps IU manage relationships with prospects, students, parents, alumni, and others—any person or group that may have a relationship with the university. IU CRM improves services and targeted communications by bringing together a holistic picture of constituents, delivering relevant information at any point of contact between IU and its constituents.
eDrop/eAdd
Workflow action that allows users to drop or add a class electronically.
eGC (eGrade Change)
Workflow action that allows instructors listed in the Schedule of Classes to submit grade changes electronically. Because this is such a powerful action, certain approval criteria, given through the Office of the Registrar, are required before access is granted.
IUIE
The Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE) is a centrally maintained, enterprise-wide, web-based decision support application and reporting environment. It provides a collection of reports, tools, and information to assist the university in providing access to institutional data. In the IUIE, a developer creates a report object, and then it becomes available to all authorized IUIE users. For questions regarding IUIE, please contact iuie-request@indiana.edu.
OnBase
OnBase is a document management system in use by multiple departments within the university. It allows the scanning, storage, and retrieval of paper documents as well as the importing and retrieval of other types of files (Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDF documents).
SIS PS Campus Solutions
SIS is the acronym for Student Information Systems. These systems support prospect and recruiting activities, admissions processing, financial aid processing, registration, advising, degree processing, student billing, and account management and self-service.
